As its name suggest, this handset is Sony (or Sony Ericsson) collaboration with Billabong (an Australian brand) that delivers an authentic lifestyle and the true values of core boardsports including surfing, skateboarding, snowboarding, and wakeboarding.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Active Billabong Edition provides water- and dustproof (IP67 rated). As specs-wise, SE smartphone has a 3-inch touchscreen HVGA display, a single-core 1GHz processor, 512MB of RAM, 1GB of built-in memory, and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS (upgradeable to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS).

The Cool Smartphone, Sony Xperia S would be launched in the UK on 6 March 2012. Play.com is currently taking pre-order for this Sony smartphone on £449.99 (SIM free / unlocked) and free delivery. New Xperia S was officially announced last month and comes as the first Sony smartphone.

Running on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS (update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich), the Sony Xperia S smartphone sports a dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm MSM8260 Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, and 32GB of onboard memory.

The Xperia S packs a 4.3-inch touchscreen Reality Display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and Mobile BRAVIA Engine, a 12MP rear-facing camera with 1080p video capturing, and a 1.3-megapixel front camera.

In term of connectivity, there are HSPA, NFC, DLNA, Wi-Fi, GPS, and HDMI port. Other feature is anti-stain coating and access to PlayStation Store.

Besides Xperia Ion handset, Sony has also official announced three Xperia smartphones at CES 2012, the Sony Xperia S (Nozomi), the Sony Xperia Acro HD and the Sony Xperia NX.
Two handsets (Xperia Acro HD and Xperia NX) are designed for Japanese market. The Sony Xperia Acro HD will bring popular Japan-specific features such as infrared port for data exchange, mobile TV, mobile wallet. The Sony Xperia NX is basically a new variant of Xperia S for Japanese market.
The Sony Xperia S is formerly known as the Nozomi and dubbed the first Sony smartphone.
This phone will be available in black and white color options and arrive this quarter. New Xperia S smartphone sports a 1.5GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of built-in storage, and runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS when launched (later updated to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS).

Sony Xperia S (Nozomi) has a 4.3-inch touchscreen display with Mobile Bravia Engine and HD (1280 x 720) resolution, and access to Sony’s Music Unlimited, PlayStation Store, and also Video Unlimited.

Sony Ericsson has finally brings its new Android smartphone, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V in the US. The handset is currently available at Sony’s US online store for cost $349.99 unlocked (estimated ship on November 17th). At their webstore, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S smartphone is also in stock.

Hardware specs, Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo V has a 3.7-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 854 x 480 pixel, a rear-facing 5MP camera with LED flash and 720p HD video recording, a front-facing VGA camera, GPS, a microSD card slot, and a 1500mAh battery.
