Japanese operator, NTT DoCoMo has officially announced a new smartphone, the Aquos Zeta SH-02E. This handset is manufactured by Sharp and world’s first smartphone to have a low-power IGZO display.
Reportedly, IGZO screen panel is made using transistors based on indium, gallium, and zinc (stands for indium gallium zinc oxide). The screen has a high resolution, higher translucency but low power consumption. In addition, they have a wide viewing angle and good color reproduction.
Running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, Sharp Aquos Zeta SH-02E smartphone sports a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core processor, Adreno 320 GPU, and a 4.9-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels.
Others features are NFC, 4G LTE, TV tuner, a 1.2-megapixel front camera and a 16MP BSI CMOS rear-facing camera with LED flash. New Sharp Aquos Zeta SH-02E is waterproof and dustproof smartphone.
