NTT DoCoMo has officially announced the Samsung Galaxy S III SC-06D superphone in Japan. This Samsung smartphone has similar color (white and blue flavors) and design as the International Samsung Galaxy S III. But the Japan-bound S III handset comes with a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 dual-core processor (instead of a quad-core Exynos chips) and 2GB of RAM (just 1GB on Europe model).
The NTT Docomo’s Galaxy S III (SC-06D) smartphone has feature a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, a 8MP rear-facing camera, and a front-facing 1.9MP camera. Running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, new Samsung Galaxy S III (SC-06D) brings a microSD card slot (up to 64GB), a 2100mAh battery, NFC, 1-seg TV, and Docomo’s Xi LTE service.
