The Samsung Divas S7070 was mentioned here back in December and now that same phone has been officially released in the UK via the Carphone Warehouse. This is the same Samsung handset that comes with a touch screen feature and is targeting the female mobile phone users.
To refresh you, among the features of the Samsung Divas S7070 include a 2.8” QVGA touch screen display, TouchWiz, quad-band, social networking capability and a 3.2MP autofocus camera.
Samsung Electronics has launched another phone in the Samsung Clutch SPH-W9500 which incidentally looks like an upgraded version of the Samsung Divas S7070. This is a mid-end phone and comes with features that include a 3.2” display, 3G, GPS, a 3MP camera and a secondary 1.3MP camera for video calls.
The Samsung Clutch W9500 is scheduled to be released in South Korea and will come in three color versions: Beige, Silver, Romantic Pink and Black Gold.
The Samsung Intensity is a slider-style cell phone with conference call capability, voice recorder, speakerphone, QWERTY keyboard, bluetooth connectivity, E911 and TTY compatibility, a phone book with sufficient space for a thousand name and number records, VCAST, VZ Navigator, internet browser, mobile email, a 1.3 megapixel camera, alarm clock, calendar, basic calculator, stopwatch, support for a variety of digital audio files, and a battery that generates three hundred minutes of talk time.
According to the Samsung South Korea Website, the Samsung Corby Folder W930/W9300 and W9350 are now official. To refresh you, the Samsung Corby Folder features a 2.6” QVGA display, an external LED display, a 3MP camera, HSDPA and Bluetooth.
The Samsung Corby Folder will be available in Candy Pink, Blue Black and Lime Green colors and will be offered through SK Telecom, KT and LG Telecom.
Samsung decided to launch a new Jet phone in India, called Samsung Jet 2. The problem is that the Jet 2 is just like the original Jet S8000, the only difference being the fact that it seems to have some new software features.
Reportedly, the Samsung Jet 2 combines “smart features and an easy-to-use user interface” to provide a “superior and differentiated experience.”
The phone comes with a 3D media gate UI, as well as with “one finger zoom” – a new concept that “enables one hand operation to zoom in and out” and can be used while browsing the Web, viewing photos or TXT, PDF and PPT files.
The Samsung Jet 2 also features a 3.1 inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen display, TouchWiz 2.0 UI , Wi-Fi, GPS, DNSe & SRS Sound Effect technology, 5MP camera, and a 800MHz application processor which allows multitasking.
The Monte Slider has a 2.0″ 240 x 320 pixel display, 1.3 megapixel camera, social networking support, microSD expandable memory, Bluetooth and USB connectivity.
It’s pretty lightweight at 86 grams, and the 800 mAh battery is quoted as giving over 6 hours talktime and 16 days standby time.
The Samsung Jack is a smartphone that including alarm, clock, calendar, Bluetooth connectivity, scheduler, stopwatch, world clock, currency converter, a variety of Microsoft features, Adobe Flash Lite, mobile email, mobile web, a 3.2 megapixel camera, a full QWERTY keyboard, GPS receiver, support for a variety of audio and video files, and a battery capable of generating up to seven full hours of talk time.
