NTT DoCoMo has officially announced the Samsung Galaxy S III SC-06D superphone in Japan. This Samsung smartphone has similar color (white and blue flavors) and design as the International Samsung Galaxy S III. But the Japan-bound S III handset comes with a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 dual-core processor (instead of a quad-core Exynos chips) and 2GB of RAM (just 1GB on Europe model).

The NTT Docomo’s Galaxy S III (SC-06D) smartphone has feature a 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, a 8MP rear-facing camera, and a front-facing 1.9MP camera. Running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, new Samsung Galaxy S III (SC-06D) brings a microSD card slot (up to 64GB), a 2100mAh battery, NFC, 1-seg TV, and Docomo’s Xi LTE service.

Already taking preorder in USA, the Samsung Galaxy S III superphone is now official priced in Taiwan. Reportedly, the 16GB and 32GB version of Samsung Galaxy S3 smartphone has price of 20,900 TWD (around $708) and 22,900 TWD (about $775), respectively.

The Samsung smartphone should be available in Taiwanese market on June 1st, 2012. As noted, the Galaxy S III 16GB model is listed on the British retailers for cost £500 (some $800).

New basic phone, the Samsung Gusto 2 has just launched by Verizon for its market. New Samsung handset is sold for priced at $79.99 on a 2-year contract (after a $50 mail-in-rebate). The Gusto 2 simple phone is successor to Samsung Gusto, which was official announced in 2010. This flip phone is comes with an external 1-inch 96 x 96 pixel display and a 2-inch internal display with a 128 x 160 pixel resolution.

Google has decided to sell the Galaxy Nexus (HSPA+) smartphone in the U.S. via Google Play. Via straight-to-consumer sales channel, this Samsung-made handset is set price of $399. Google Play is offering the HSPA 16GB version of Galaxy Nexus smartphone in unlocked.
