Latin American mobile communication company for business customers, NII Holdings, which provides service under the brand name Nextel, and Motorola recently announced a new mobile phone, called the Motorola i897 Ferrari Special Edition.

The handset is a clamshell phone with sleek and impressive design as expected of a Ferrari Official Licensed Product that pre-loaded with Ferrari digital content such as ringtones, pictures, branded skins and themes, wallpapers and videos, as well as gaming of Ferrari GT: Evolution game by Gameloft.

The Motorola i897 Ferrari Special Edition phone is equipped with a 2 megapixel camera, music player, Bluetooth, a microSD card with capacity of up to 8GB (a 2GB card included), an external 1.8-inch display with resolution of 128 x 160 pixels, a main 2.2-inch display with resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, microUSB port, and iDEN supported.

Motorola i897 Ferrari Special Edition is currently available in Brazil and Argentina. In October, the Motorola i897 Ferrari Special Edition will be available also in Mexico. It is coming in two color options – red and yellow.

The Chinese mobile regulator TENAA has published a new Motorola phone device, namely the Motorola XT806. The handset is resembles design of Motorola MING, which was sold early this year.

The Motorola XT806 is a clamshell phone with large transparent flip. It can pack a 3.7-inch touchscreen display with resolution of 480 x 854 pixels (FWVGA). The Moto XT806 phone is running on Android 2.1 OS and support for GSM/CDMA network.

Motorola XT806 is pack a 5 megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording and LED flash, 512MB RAM, 512MB flash storage, a microSD card slot, Wi-Fi/WAPI, and Bluetooth.

The new Moto XT806 will be available for Chinese market via China Telecom.

Besides the upcoming BlackBerry Curve 3G 9300 smartphone, Rogers has just launched in Canada the new Motorola handset, known as the Motorola FlipOut. The latest phone is starting sale now for costs as low as $29.99 with a 3-year contract or $324.99 on a 1-year contract.

As mentions, the Motorola FlipOut can packs 2.8-inch touchscreen TFT display with resolution of 320 x 240 pixels (QVGA), 3G, Wi-Fi, 3.5mm headset jack, GPS, and a 3 megapixel camera. The Moto FlipOut smartphone is running on Android 2.1 OS with MotoBlur and has a full QWERTY keyboard in rotator form factor.

Besides Motorola BackFlip Android smartphone, Motorola has also unveils new another Android phone in India, the Motorola Milestone XT720. This cellphone is appears on India market for priced at 34,990 INR (about $759).
The Motorola Milestone XT720 is lacks a hardware QWERTY keyboard but runs on Android 2.1 OS. The Motorola XT720 has brings a 3.7-inch touchscreen display with resolution of 480 x 854 pixels, 720p video recording, 8 megapixel autofocus camera with Xenon flash, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g, GPS, HDMI port, 8GB of onboard memory, and a microSD card slot.

Size of Motorola Milestone XT720 phone is 115.95 x 60.9 x 10.9 mm.

Motorola has recently launched new Android smartphone in India, called the Motorola BackFlip. The handset will be selling for price at 22,990 INR (around $499). The Motorola BackFlip is a unique reverse flip phone that full QWERTY keyboard form the base of phone and flips up when open. This BackFlip is comes with Android 1.5 Cupcake.

The Motorola BackFlip can pack a 3.1-inch touchscreen display with resolution of 320×480 pixels and 262,144 colors support, 5 megapixel auto-focus camera with flash and 4x digital zoom, A-GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 2.1 connectivity. The Motorola phone is powered by a 528 MHz Qualcomm MSM7201A processor, 256 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM, and a microSD card slot (2GB card included).

Motorola BackFlip is provides Quad-band GSM, Tri-band WCDMA (HSDPA 7.2 Mbps) network. Dimensions of Motorola BackFlip are 53 x 108 x 15.3 mm and weight 133 grams.

Motorola has recently launched new touchscreen mobile phone in Hong Kong and Taiwan, namely the Motorola EX300. The handset is running on Brew MP OS and Google Map pre-loaded.

The Motorola EX300 semi-smartphone packs a 2.8-inch wide touchscreen TFT display (240×320 pixels), GPS, a 2 megapixel camera, VGA front camera for video call, WiFi/WAPI and a microSD card slot. The touchscreen phone is sports Qualcomm’s QSC 6270 chip and a 1150mAh battery with provides 200-500 minutes of talk time, about 400 hours of standby.

Motorola EX300 is support for dual-band WCDMA 900/2100, tri-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE 900/1800/1900 network. Size of Motorola EX300 is 106×56.8×14mm. The new Motorola EX300 should be available in Hong Kong for HK$1280 (about US$165) and in Taiwan for NT$6680 (around US$210).
