Latin American mobile communication company for business customers, NII Holdings, which provides service under the brand name Nextel, and Motorola recently announced a new mobile phone, called the Motorola i897 Ferrari Special Edition.

The handset is a clamshell phone with sleek and impressive design as expected of a Ferrari Official Licensed Product that pre-loaded with Ferrari digital content such as ringtones, pictures, branded skins and themes, wallpapers and videos, as well as gaming of Ferrari GT: Evolution game by Gameloft.

The Motorola i897 Ferrari Special Edition phone is equipped with a 2 megapixel camera, music player, Bluetooth, a microSD card with capacity of up to 8GB (a 2GB card included), an external 1.8-inch display with resolution of 128 x 160 pixels, a main 2.2-inch display with resolution of 320 x 240 pixels, microUSB port, and iDEN supported.

Motorola i897 Ferrari Special Edition is currently available in Brazil and Argentina. In October, the Motorola i897 Ferrari Special Edition will be available also in Mexico. It is coming in two color options – red and yellow.

Motorola is preparing to release new Android smartphone, the Motorola Droid Pro. According to source, the upcoming Moto smartphone is a global version of Motorola Droid 2, which is supporting the work in GSM/HSPA and CDMA EV-DO network.
In other specifications of Motorola Droid Pro are identical, there is a sliding QWERTY keyboard, GPS, 3.7-inch touchscreen display with resolution of 480 x 854 pixel (FWVGA), 5 megapixel camera, and more.
The Motorola Droid Pro will probably cost a little more expensive than Motorola Droid 2.
It will be distributed via Verizon Wireless U.S. mobile operator.

The Chinese mobile regulator TENAA has published a new Motorola phone device, namely the Motorola XT806. The handset is resembles design of Motorola MING, which was sold early this year.

The Motorola XT806 is a clamshell phone with large transparent flip. It can pack a 3.7-inch touchscreen display with resolution of 480 x 854 pixels (FWVGA). The Moto XT806 phone is running on Android 2.1 OS and support for GSM/CDMA network.

Motorola XT806 is pack a 5 megapixel camera with 720p HD video recording and LED flash, 512MB RAM, 512MB flash storage, a microSD card slot, Wi-Fi/WAPI, and Bluetooth.

The new Moto XT806 will be available for Chinese market via China Telecom.

Motorola has recently launched new touchscreen mobile phone in Hong Kong and Taiwan, namely the Motorola EX300. The handset is running on Brew MP OS and Google Map pre-loaded.

The Motorola EX300 semi-smartphone packs a 2.8-inch wide touchscreen TFT display (240×320 pixels), GPS, a 2 megapixel camera, VGA front camera for video call, WiFi/WAPI and a microSD card slot. The touchscreen phone is sports Qualcomm’s QSC 6270 chip and a 1150mAh battery with provides 200-500 minutes of talk time, about 400 hours of standby.
