The Yuhua X2 smartphone is a handset that offers dual OS capability, letting you toss between Linux 2.6 as well as the Android operating systems. Of course, its hardware specifications are nothing much to shout about with 256MB ROM and 128MB RAM, which makes us wonder just how fast (or rather, slow) the performance would be like considering the complex and demanding nature of operating systems of today. Apart from that, you get a 3″ WQVGA touchscreen display at 260k colors, although the resolution of 240 x 400 pixels isn’t going to be a deal maker for anybody. Apart from that, you get a 5-megapixel autofocus camera, DVB-T mobile TV support, Wi-Fi connectivity and GPS navigation capability. A 1,200 mAh battery doesn’t sound like much these days for a smartphone, as a 1,900 mAh battery with push email turned on all day long can barely last more than 24 hours.

This is a Titanium projector phone straight out of China, and it is a very low-budget one with an LED projector and manual focus.

It also has a 2.2 inch touchscreen display, an integrated FM radio, dual SIM card slots, Bluetooth, built-in digital camera, and even analog TV.

This is about all I have on this particular device for now, but give it time, and we’ll be seeing more of these. The projector phone is just beginning to take off.
