After announced DuraCore non-camera phone two months ago, Sprint just announced another Kyocera rugged phone, the Duraplus. This phone is not a smartphone but meets Military Standard 810G. New Kyocera DuraPlus is suitable for professional users who work in extreme / tough environments.
The Kyocera DuraPlus is resistance to shock, dust, vibration, humidity, extreme temperatures, and rain, and of course, able to maximum 1m of water in 30 minutes. New Duraplus rugged phone is comes in a candybar form factor, a screen, alphanumeric keypad, and a LED flash with dedicated power button.

Sprint is bundled the Kyocera DuraPlus extreme ruggedness phone with Sprint’s Direct Connect push-to-talk service. It also brings One-Touch Direct Connect, Call Alert with Text, and TeamDC to communicate with up to 200 other Sprint Direct Connect subscribers.
There is no information yet about pricing or exact release date of Kyocera DuraPlus.

Sprint has official announced a new rugged clamshell phone on their market, the Kyocera DuraCore. New handset is comes with Sprint Direct Connect, also meets Military Standard 810G for shock, dust, and vibration. This Kyocera flip phone has a non-slip Dura-Grip surface for sure hold, and durable exterior.

Unlike most phones on currently market, the Kyocera DuraCore is lacks camera for jobs where cameras are prohibited.

Sprint has started selling the new Kyocera durable flip phone, the Kyocera Duramax. This gadget is a rugged clamshell phone that paired with a Dura-Grip non-slip surface and supports Sprint’s Direct Connect Push-To-Talk service.

New Duramax handset is meets the military standard 810G for resistance to shock, dust, vibration, extreme temperatures, low pressure, blowing rain, solar radiation, salt fog, humidity and immersion (up to 30 minutes in up to one meter of water).

The Kyocera Duramax phone has a 3 megapixel camera with LED flash and video recording support, GPS, and a microSD card slot.

The rugged DuraMax is also brings a 2-inch scratch-resistant TFT display with resolution of 240 x 320 pixels, a 1-inch external display with 96 x 64 resolution. It is sports a Qualcomm QSC6085 CPU and 64MB of internal storage.

The Japanese operator, KDDI is going prepare to sell a new Kyocera Android smartphone on its market, the Kyocera Digno ISW11K. This handset is targeted at young users.

Sprint has recently announced a new mobile phone, Kyocera S2100 on payLo by Virgin Mobile.

The Kyocera entry-level handset is a clamshell form factor.
