This is a concept phone for HTC called the HTC “1″.
It is designed by Andrew Kim, and it has a brass housing, stereo speakers on the top and bottom of the unit, kickstand, and some sort built-in UV light for killing germs on the surface of the phone.
I doubt we’ll be seeing this one anytime soon, but maybe someone will get it, and hopefully not call it “1″. That could get easily confused with the Nexus One. The name is similar to the Sony Ericsson C1i or Sony CS1i concept phones.
HTC is preparing introduce its WinMo mobile phone, called the HTC Mondrian. The handset is boasts windows phone 7 OS and the speediest processor of 1.3GHz Snapdragon chip. The HTC Mondrian smartphone has brings a display with WVGA resolution (480 x 800 pixels) and supports a Bluetooth Stereo (A2DP).
HTC also has confirmed prepare another Windows Phone 7 phone, which is namely as the HTC Mozart. It is probably makes sweet music.
The HTC Mondrian is a real device after all: HTC is confirming this via one of its official websites, and it’s also confirming that the handset runs Windows Phone 7 and features a WVGA (480 x 800) display.
According to previous rumors, the Mondrian should also have a 1.3GHz Snapdragon processor.
The HTC Mondrian might look like in the image below, although this is likely just a WP7 concept design, and not an actual smartphone.
Another WP7 device confirmed by HTC is the HTC Mozart. This features a WVGA display, too, but other details are not known at the moment.
HTC’s Peter Chou said more than once that the company would launch at least one Windows Phone 7 device this year, so let’s wait and see if it’s the Mondrian, the Mozart, the UK-bound Gold, or all three of them.
This is still very much a rumor at this point, but word is going around that HTC is coming up with the HTC Ace, which will look something like the HTC Droid Incredible. It wasn’t exactly mentioned when this phone will be arriving (if ever), but specifications of it should include a large 4.3-inch AMOLED display, 8-megapixel camera with flash, Android 3.0, and be powered by a dual-core Snapdragon CPU. Do you think we’ll be seeing such a device anytime soon, or is this just a device in someone’s dreams?
