AT&T has officially announced a new Mango smartphone at CES 2012 event, the HTC Titan II (aka HTC Radiant) that brings largest-ever 16-megapixel camera. This handset is also support for 4G LTE connectivity.
Running on Windows Phone 7.5 Mango OS, the HTC Titan II ‘true 4G smartphone’ is powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, 512MB of RAM, and 16GB of flash storage.

New Titan II smartphone has a 4.7-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of WVGA (480 x 800 pixels), a 1.3MP front-facing camera, and a rear 16MP autofocus camera with dual LED flash, wide-angle lens (f2.6, 28mm), and HD 720p video recording.
Other feature on this HTC handset is Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a 1730 mAh battery.

AT&T will release the HTC smartphone, namely the HTC HD7S. According to source, it is basically the HTC HD7 but to be the first phone in the US with an improved Super-LCD high resolution display.

The HTC HD7S is an entertainment smartphone that integration with Zune and Xbox LIVE, and built-in kickstand. New AT&T HTC HD7S is boasts a powerful 1GHz processor, a large 4.3-inch WVGA high-resolution screen in cinematic-style. It is runs Windows Phone 7 OS.

The HTC HD7S smartphone will be available in ‘the coming weeks’.

Pantech and AT&T U.S. mobile operator just announced a quick messaging phone that namely the Pantech Laser. The cellphone is a thinnest full sliding keyboard phone (9.95mm).
The Pantech Laser would be available exclusively via AT&T starting October 17 and offers price of $99.99 after $50 mail-in rebate and with a two-year agreement.
Newly Pantech Laser phone has brings a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, a 3.1-inch touchscreen AMOLED display, 3 megapixel camera, music player, Bluetooth, microSD memory card, and GPS with AT&T Navigator.
Its interface is integrated to social networking sites including Facebook, Twitter and MySpace in one easy-to-use interface.

AT&T USA mobile operator has started selling new dual-mode cellular/satellite smartphone, called the TerreStar Genus. Most satellite communication devices are huge, ugly and have a long antenna, but TerreStar Genus looks like a usual smartphone or PDA. The handset is developed by TerreStar. It is offers a unique combination of GSM / HSPA backed up with satellite capability.

The TerreStar Genus smartphone is runs on Windows Mobile 6.5.3 and available for business and government users only. The cost of AT&T TerreStar Genus smartphone is $799 and $25 per month as well as 65 cents per-minute, 40 cents per-message, and $5 per-megabyte charges.

The Quickfire offers a speakerphone, voice recorder, conference call capability, mobile email, a mobile web browser with Java capability, various different pieces of downloadable content available, a 1.3 megapixel camera, alarm clock, calendar, calculator, MP3 player, and a battery capable of yielding three hours of talk time on a single charge.

There were those who described the AT&T Quickfire as some kind of glorified Sidekick, and looking at the two, that’s not exactly an unfair statement.  Of course, the Quickfire offers significantly more than the Sidekick did, but still, the comparison is a reasonable one.
