After announced DuraCore non-camera phone two months ago, Sprint just announced another Kyocera rugged phone, the Duraplus. This phone is not a smartphone but meets Military Standard 810G. New Kyocera DuraPlus is suitable for professional users who work in extreme / tough environments.
The Kyocera DuraPlus is resistance to shock, dust, vibration, humidity, extreme temperatures, and rain, and of course, able to maximum 1m of water in 30 minutes. New Duraplus rugged phone is comes in a candybar form factor, a screen, alphanumeric keypad, and a LED flash with dedicated power button.

Sprint is bundled the Kyocera DuraPlus extreme ruggedness phone with Sprint’s Direct Connect push-to-talk service. It also brings One-Touch Direct Connect, Call Alert with Text, and TeamDC to communicate with up to 200 other Sprint Direct Connect subscribers.
There is no information yet about pricing or exact release date of Kyocera DuraPlus.
