In the UK, the Samsung Galaxy S Advance smartphone is now available for pre-order. MobileFun is offering the new Samsung smartphone for £349.95 SIM-free and unlocked. New Galaxy S Advance was officially announced few days ago and a smaller than Samsung Galaxy R smartphone.
Running on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS, the Samsung Galaxy S Advance sports a dual-core 1GHz processor, 8GB of built-in storage, a microSD card slot (hot-swappable, up to 32GB), and a 1650 mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy S Advance has a 4-inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with WVGA (480 x 800) resolution, and a 5 megapixel rear autofocus camera with 30fps video recording.
In term of connectivity, there are Bluetooth with A2DP, Wi-Fi, microUSB port, A-GPS, and 3.5mm audio jack. Samsung Galaxy S Advance is works in GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, HSDPA 900 / 1900 / 2100 MHz networks.
Other feature is accelerometer, DNSe, DivX/XviD video support, and FM radio with RDS. Dimensions of Samsung Galaxy S Advance are 123.2 x 63 x 9.69 mm.
