Motorola  and Verizon Wireless USA mobile operator introduced new flagship Android smartphone, the Motorola Droid X. The handset is preliminary announcement on 18 June 2010. According to manufacture, it is designed to push the extreme limits of Android innovation with ultra high-speed Web browsing, loads of memory, intuitive social messaging, a fast 1GHz processor, and 3G Mobile HotSpot capabilities.

New Motorola Droid X is running on Android 2.1 OS, but will also receive Android 2.2 and Adobe Flash Player 10.1 with an over-the-air update in the latter half of the summer. It also has a virtual Swype-keyboard.

Motorola Droid X smartphone is boasts 1GHz TI OMAP3630 processor, a 4.3-inch touchscreen wide display with resolution of 480×854 pixel (FWVGA), 8 megapixel autofocus camera with dual LED flash and supports 720p HD video recording, HDMI port, GPS, e-compass, Wi-Fi with support DLNA, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, 8GB flash storage, a microSD/microSDHC card slot (up to 32GB) with a 16GB card included, microUSB port, and 3.5mm headphone jack.

It has brings a 1540 mAh battery and provides up to 8 hours in talktime, up to 220 hours in standby mode. Verizon Motorola Droid X is support CDMA EV-DO Rev. A 800/1900 MHz network.
