Nokia has announced the beginning of sales of its new model Nokia N900 touch Internet device based on Linux operating system, Maemo. The cost of this device is currently $ 649 and it is already available in flagship stores in New York and Chicago, as well as the company’s website and in the independent retails and various online retailers, including Amazon.com.
Nokia N900 is a mobile computer with open source software based on Linux, providing a functional, similar to a desktop computer. As the manufacturer claims, precisely because of its operating system, Nokia N900 offers users the opportunity to work with multiple applications and at the same time fully use the phone functions, touch screen and full-size QWERTY-keyboard.
