Representatives of Acer have announced that their new smartphone Liquid (A1) will be available on sale in Britain in late November. Let us remind that the A1 is the first smartphone of the company running Android operating system and the world’s first Android phone based on Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
It is sad, but the device will be equipped with the Android 1.6 Donut, and not with the latest version of Android 2.0 OS. Also, apparently said earlier 1GHz processor of the new phone will operate at 768 MHz. Acer has, most likely, decided to reduce the working frequency of the processor to reduce the very high power consumption, as well as heating of the device.

Some of the most significant characteristics of the new Acer Liquid A1 include the 3.5-dm WVGA capacitive touch screen, HSDPA, WiFi b / g, Bluetooth 2.0 EDR, GPS and a 5-megapixel camera.
According to the information available the new smartphone from Acer will be priced at $481.
